Luca had his first ever haircut yesterday!
He was so well behaved... the face you see in the picture was how he looked the whole time!
I was really afraid to cut it, because his has
these beautiful curls that I didn't want to lose. However, the curls are here to stay, because even after the cut, they remain and are adorable.
I don't think Luca will ever have a "short" cut - maybe living near the beach in southern California has something to do with it. On the other hand, it seems a shame to let those little curls go to waste!
On a different note we will be leaving tomorrow morning for Nonna and Pappy's, and Bella is ecstatic. We pray for a smooth and uncomplicated trip, as we are making it without Keith this time. My cousin, Nicholas, has been here for a few days (and even got his hair cut with Luca). He will help me get us there!
The next post will probably be when we get back!
I am Keri - wife of my best friend, and mother of 3 beautiful children. Welcome to a little piece of our life! I've recently been using this blog to chronicle our journey to wellness as my family and I fight to heal from Lyme disease.

Bumper Bonnet
Just in time for Easter! Luca's got a new hat, and this one isn't mandatory!
Now a proud Doc Band graduate, it seemed a bit scary to let Luca take to the hardwood floors without some kind of protection for his little noggin! Call us paranoid, but this kid has already been through so much. I found this little bonnet at One Step Ahead, and it gives us peace of mind when he's running around the house - especially with his partner in crime, Bella.
These two have become friends lately, for the most part. Bella has started competing less with Luca, and playing with him more. The problem is, she gets a little rough with the little guy - hence the new bonnet.
We hope you have a great Easter weekend. I will be playing for 4 church services on Sunday, so it will be a bit hectic for us. However, we will not forget why we are celebrating the greatest sacrifice ever given for mankind.
He is Risen!
